Black Friday...Cyber Monday...The Worst of Humanity Comes Out

So...I am a self procaimed shop-o-holic! I can find a mall in the middle of a dessert and I can shop my worries away. I do think that it is important that I clarify before going any further that when I say "shop" I do mean that I just love being in malls, looking at the beautiful works of art that live below a persons ankle...and getting a mocha from a coffee stand and just sitting in the mall people watching, or espically during the holidays watching the magic in children's eyes. Everything seems so perfect!!!

Now, for the worst of humanity...Black Friday!! I am a cynical mean person when I see people acting completely STUPID for a "good deal". I have the biggest problem with the people who pull their children (and I am talking about 4 year olds) out in the cold with them just so they can save $200 on a flat screen TV. It is the parent who wants the TV, not the child...it is the parent who wants to be standing out there, not the child...it is the parent who is dressed extremely warm, SURPRISINGLY NOT THE CHILD. It just makes me so angry. I don't get it. I want to hurt people, or adopt all of the children that I see standing in the line that have mediocre jackets on and are shivering, while their parents are standing their with a warm cup of coffee. Get out of line for your TV or your XBOX and go get your kid in bed...be a good parent! ugh.

But where things get really out of control is when I went to Bellevue not to long ago. It would seem that people are becoming more and more pushy just to save $4 on so trinket that doesn't mean anything in the long run. Their are people from other countries speaking languages that I don't understand...and normally I am all for a completely diverse environment because it allows me to learn and grow as a person but when they are pushy and yell at me in a different language I don't appreciate it.
I know that this is a personal issues, however it just seems that the magic of shopping and the wondermiss of everything that I loved about going to Bellevue or Downtown Seattle is fading and I am just going to forgo what I love...and move over to the idea of doing everything on line! humph...
